Job Title: Computer Programmer
Job Duties:
Use ASP.net to create, modify, and test the code, forms, and script that allow the company’s proprietary medical billing software to run. Develop and write computer programs, using SQL Server, to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information, such as patient data and billing forms which comply with the requirements of health insurance companies. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. Conduct trial runs of programs and software to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. Using knowledge of medical billing software(s), write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities and the requirements of health insurers for correct billing codes and format. Perform revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users.
